Authorised distributor of Mastercam in the Baltic States, CIS and Russia – Group of companies “COLLA” – has summarized achieved results in 2016. Mastercam licences sales revenue growth reached +7% (for comparison: CNC Software – vendor of Mastercam – has shown +5.7% annual revenue increase, whereas the volume of global CAM market has gone up by only +3.2%). Thus, the revenue growth rates for “COLLA” are more than twice the size of the growth of the global market.

“COLLA” has taken the 27th place in the list of Mastercam international resellers located outside the US, outperforming several hundreds of resellers by volume of revenue in sales of software and maintenance in 2016. Having in mind the size of the territory on which the services are being provided, this achievement seems to be quite modest by itself, although it is rather significant in essence, considering the GDP per capita in Russia, CIS and the Baltics, as well as true effective demand in industry, cutthroat competition on the CAM market and introduction of restrictive measures for the foreign software in Russia (on top of all). It is worth to mention that “COLLA” has left behind its historically important rivals – both Chinese resellers, as well as resellers from Israel and Brazil.

In the Top-50 of the best Mastercam international resellers “COLLA” has taken the pride of place (8th) in deliveries for educational sector (staying behind resellers from Hong-Kong, Canada, Japan (two), South Korea, Taiwan and India). At the same time “COLLA” has taken the 1st place in a similar rating for Europe, becoming the absolute leader of sales for educational institutions. Here we also praise DMG MORI Russia, which became the partner of “COLLA” in early 2015. Both companies participated actively in Global and Russian Movement and Hub for skills excellence and development – WorldSkills. Within this project, they united their efforts to deliver the most advanced CNC equipment and licenses of CAM system Mastercam to educational institutions. DMG MORI Russia and “COLLA” facilitated the convey of world’s best practices in CNC-programming, training of experts, educators and coaches, and professionally supported the competitions of young specialists in milling and lathe competences. A special training for the National team for European and International WorldSkills championships was also provided.

It is worth to mention an outstanding growth of the number of new clients during the last two years. In 2015 it increased by 29 companies, but in 2016 – by 37. It has strengthened substantially the position of Mastercam on Russian market and in the Baltics. Along with a wide introduction of Mastercam in educational institutions of all levels, it creates a solid background for future success and popularity of Mastercam!
